Contact Lenses

We take pride in providing thorough professional contact lens service. Your initial eye exam will determine the health of your eyes, your prescription requirements and some preliminary contact lens measurements. We will determine if contact lenses are suitable for you and discuss what type of lenses would be the best. Fees for fitting and contact lens materials will be explained.

You will be scheduled for a contact lens fitting appointment. Trial lenses will be placed on your eyes and careful measurements will be made for the best possible result. Lenses will normally be dispensed at this visit. You will receive instructions on the care and handling of the lenses and given a wearing schedule for the first week. At the end of the first week, we will do a progress evaluation.

If you are happy with vision and comfort and the doctor is happy with the fit, we will order your final lenses. Your fitting fee includes any lens changes and up to five follow up visits. Most fittings are successful with a fitting appointment and two follow up visits.
